Drag show with Francesco Pierri, alias Cristina Prenestina. Francesco is one of the most well known artist of the Drag scene of Rome and chose the name Cristina after the gender fluid Swedish queen Kristina (1626-1629). In his show he pays homage to the grand divas of today and yesterday, with a ”certain regard” for the LGBT community.
Francesco has worked as a social worker and kindergarten teacher. He is now basically a full time artist, but also likes to read gender fairy tales for children.
”I decided to read for children because I firmly believe that the coming generations will change the world. I think it is important to talk about the value of diversity and sexual fluidity”, says Francesco.
