Join us for an unforgettable evening with Paduan pianist Leonora Armellini. As a beloved guest of our previous concert seasons, Leonora will enchant us with masterpieces by Fryderyk Chopin and Sergei Prokofiev.From her highly praised debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall to winning the prestigious fifth prize at the 2021 “F. Chopin” International Piano Competition in Warsaw, she is the first Italian woman to achieve such a high ranking in this globally renowned competition.
Leonora’s musical gift was evident from a young age. She graduated with honors from the conservatory at just 12 and went on to win the Venice Prize unanimously in 2005. By 17, she had completed her specialization under Sergio Perticaroli at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and later, she graduated from the Imola Academy in Boris Petrushansky's class in 2018.
Her talent and dedication to her craft have established Leonora as a distinguished figure in the international concert scene. She also shares her passion for music through teaching piano at the Conservatorio “A. Buzzolla” in Adria.
Due to high demand, reservations are essential. Tickets (concert price €20.00; reduced price for children and students €10.00) can be purchased at the box office half an hour before the event or in advance daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
