Maschile Singolare was launched June 4 this year on Amazon Prime, a film by the debuting directors Alessandro Guida and Matteo Pilati. It tells the story of Antonio, a 30 year old man who is forced to re-evaluate his whole life when his husband, of whom he is dependent both psychologically and economically, abandons him. He has to find himself a new apartment, a job, new friends and a new scope in life.
This universal theme of the search for who we actually are, is told in an hbtq everyday life reality, without stereotypes. The directors will talk about the creation of the film, the content and about being gay in the world of Italian cinema with scriptwriter Giuseppe Paternò Radius and some of the actors of the cast.
