Aida by Giuseppe Verdi - Capridrama Opera Festival
The first Capridrama Opera Festival ends with Verdi’s Aida, performed in the beautiful setting of Villa San Michele. The event, created by Renato Ocone and artistic director Filippo Rotondo, is organized by the Filrō Musical Association and returns for the third year to Axel Munthe’s former home.The cast of this production includes: Filippo Rotondo, who, in addition to directing, designing sets and costumes, will perform the role of Amonasro; pianist Federico Cappa, who will conduct the musical performance; Ginevra Martalò in the title role; Hayk Vardanyan as Radames; Beatrice Amato Pizzi as Amneris; Margherita Sarno as the handmaiden; and Maria Emilia Gòmez as actress and assistant director.
Tickets may be purchased directly at the entrance of Villa San Michele on the evening of the performance from 7:30 PM.
