For the fourth concert in our beloved summer series, Un’estate per sognare ("A Summer Dream"). Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Villa San Michele’s panoramic terrace, the evening will feature a captivating recital by Swedish soprano Matilda Sterby and acclaimed pianist Matti Hirvonen, with a programme dedicated to the music of Edvard Grieg, Giacomo Puccini, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Hailed by OperaWire as one of the top ten rising stars of 2024, Matilda Sterby is one of Sweden’s most promising opera talents. Her remarkable career has already seen her perform leading roles in renowned opera houses.

Matti Hirvonen, a returning favorite of our Capri audiences, is recognized as one of Scandinavia’s foremost collaborative pianists. A versatile musician, he brings exceptional artistry to every performance, with a particular affinity for chamber music and vocal accompaniment.

The concert series continues every Friday until August 8, under the musical direction of Bo Löfvendahl, with the support of Progetto Piano and under the patronage of the Swedish Embassy.

Tickets (€20; reduced rate for youth and students: €10) are available at the ticket office 30 minutes before the concert, or in advance daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.

It is possible to return to Naples on the last ferry after the concerts have finished.
